The YBX5 series of ultra-premium efficiency flameproof three-phase induction motors covers 0.18–315 kW in 2-, 4-, 6- and 8-pole versions, frame sizes 80–355, with Ex marking Ex d I Mb / Ex d IIB T4 Gb / Ex d IIC T4 Gb and efficiency to China GB 18613-2020 grade 1 (IE5). The tables below list all 113 standard models; open a model for mounting dimensions and outline drawings.

Overview

YBX5 motors are totally enclosed, fan-cooled, squirrel-cage flameproof induction motors developed by Shangli. Efficiency reaches grade 1, the highest grade of China GB 18613-2020, with low vibration and noise. Explosion protection meets GB 3836.2 (equipment protection by flameproof enclosures “d”) for Zone 1 and Zone 2 explosive gas atmospheres.

Typical industries are petroleum, chemical, coal mining, mining, ports, power plants and general engineering, driving fans, compressors, pumps, crushers, hoists, centrifuges, machine tools and conveyors.

Interchangeable mounting dimensions

YBX3, YBX4 and YBX5 motors of the same frame size share the same mounting dimensions, so an existing YBX3 or YBX4 flameproof motor can be upgraded to YBX5 without changing the feet, shaft extension or flange.

Values at 380 V, 50 Hz; efficiency applies at 75–100% load and noise is the no-load sound pressure level. At voltages other than 380 V, current I = IN × 380 / U and other values are unchanged. For 60 Hz motors, add 6 dB(A) to the no-load noise of 2-pole frames 200–355 and 5 dB(A) for other pole numbers. Final values are those in the routine test report.
