YBX3 IE3 Flameproof Induction Motors

The YBX3 series of high-efficiency flameproof three-phase induction motors covers 0.37–315 kW in 2- to 10-pole versions, frame sizes 80–355, with Ex marking Ex d I Mb / Ex d IIA T4 Gb / Ex d IIB T4 Gb / Ex d IIC T4 Gb, IP55 enclosure, class F insulation and efficiency to China GB 18613-2012 grade 2, consistent with IE3 to IEC 60034-30. Overview

YBX3 is the basic series of Shangli high-efficiency flameproof motors, derived from the YB3 series, with small volume, light weight, reliable operation, long service life and easy installation and maintenance. Outputs and mounting dimensions follow IEC standards and correspond to German DIN 42673, which helps with export equipment and spare parts for imported machinery.

Explosion protection complies with GB 3836.1-2010 and GB 3836.2-2010 and the provisions of IEC 60079-1, BS 4683 and EN 50018. A YBX3 IIC version (Ex d IIC T4 Gb) is available for plants with hydrogen or acetylene atmospheres; apart from the terminal box, it has the same outputs, mounting arrangements and dimensions as the basic version.

Interchangeable mounting dimensions

YBX3, YBX4 and YBX5 motors of the same frame size share the same mounting dimensions. For higher efficiency, the same frame can be supplied as YBX4 (IE4) or YBX5 (IE5) without changing the feet, shaft extension or flange.
